Upcoming Events

IWF monthly meetings will resume in September 2005. During the summer months, stay involved in the IWF via the online community and interest groups.

Interest Groups

1.Although ‘Klatch leader Jill has left for a place with the 0% humidity this summer, Kaffeklatsch continues to meet without her! Stop by the Gelatauro on Wednesday mornings between 9 and 11.

2. Runners have two choices this Sunday, July 3rd: CAMMINATA DI MONTE SOLE (Vado) or CAMMINATA DEL COCOMERO ( San Matteo della Decima).

On the Forum

  • We’ve cleaned up the forum Member Blog and Q&A, moving messages into more specific subject categories. We’ve left a shadow topic on the Blog so you can see where your message has gone. When in doubt about where to post a message, go ahead and stick it in the Blog. We’ll move it for you!


  • In fact, some messages formerly found on the blog have found a new home "In the Kitchen”. Presenting the new forum to share recipes, ask cooking questions and post tips about where to buy special ingredients.


  • Don’t miss your chance to contribute to the IWF’s latest project! Visit the Bologna Inside Guidebook Forum and post your area of interest. Editor Andrea Vogt will be finalizing the content teams by the end of July.

  • The IWF will be holding its first annual leadership retreat this summer on July 17th and August 27th. If you would like to serve in a supporting leadership role for the upcoming year, we invite your to join us on one of these occasions. Please contact Kathryn Knowles for details.
