Friday April 29 at Cinema Lumiere, the English version with Italian subtitles of the movie “The Duke” by Roger Michell. A British comedy about the theft of a precious painting from the National Gallery, based on the true story of a 60 years old taxi driver who in 1961 stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington. He sent random notes negotiating the return of the paint on condition the government invested more in the care of the elderly. What happened next became the stuff of legend.
