UPDATE: I’m so happy for the wonderful response!
I AM GOING TO PAUSE THE RSVPs AT (15) people as of 22 Nov at 12:00.
If you would like to join please email me and I will put you on the waiting list — as I might be able to secure more spaces.
LOVELY JUBBLY!
I am very excited to organise a dinner at this wonderful gem of a restaurant.
Kabulàgna is the first Afghan restaurant in Emilia Romagna where not only traditional Afghan cuisine is cooked but also Syrian cuisine.
You can read more about their story in the Corriere di Bologna article here.
I am in the process of setting the menu — most likely a tasting menu — set as they say, in ‘large-format-dining’, which will allow us to partake in many different types of dishes. Reservations are at 20.00 and the restaurant is easily accessible by bus as it’s just a few minutes outside of the porta down Via Saffi. Very worth the little trek!
Let me know if you would like to join in the comments below.
I hope to see you:) Stephanie
Little note: Kabulàgna is a portmanteau of Kabul and the native spelling of Bologna (kabul-bulagna).
